This may seem like a small thing, but it makes a big difference Page Rank wise. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has the address of their blog in our TopList ending with /blog/ , which is the way WE WANT IT. However, when GoTop redirects to the Blogger server, it picks up the /blog/index.html page, which is not the same address. It does not have the same Page Rank, either, and it just dilutes our chance for a high ranking.
I hope I'm making sense.
Basically what I'm saying is, whatever address the member has listed should be the one that the TopList sends the person to. GoTop100 should not be making changes to the Url.
Go Top 100 does not make any changes to the URL. That would be blogger doing it (or whatever blog service you are talking about). We have the url YOU entered in our database and that is exactly where we send people who click on your link.
It is actually not physically possible. How would we know if a site was on index.html, index.php, index.asp? I'd have to manually check every single site on every single top list and manually change the URL myself and why on earth would I do that?
I'm sorry I so obviously offended you with my request, but it was the only thing that made sense to me. If I put the address in my browser as /blog/, I'm taken to /blog/, which is what I want. If I click on a link from somewhere else, which has the URL of /blog/, I go to /blog/. If I click on the banner or link on the TopList, I end up on /blog/index.html, even though that is NOT the address that is in the data.
Does it have something to do with it being a redirect?

It is possible that it is from the redirect, although I'm not sure how or why that could be. If you give me a couple of examples I could take a look and try to explain why, but there is nothing I could do about it from our end to change it.
OK, I checked out several blogs that end in /blog/ in the database. All of them work correctly except mine, so it must be some setting I have in Blogger, or they are not using Blogger. I'll have to investigate further before I can give you an example other than my own.

OK, I'll have to apologize. I seem to have fixed it, but I fiddled with several things on Blogger, so I'm not sure which one actually fixed it.
