    FAVICON?

    I added the link to my shortcut icon to the Meta Tags, but didn't put a tag name on it.

    <link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="http://blogvillage.dirtybutter.com/favicon.ico" />

    I've used an online Favicon Validator, and it said everything was correct, but it doesn't show.

    Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?

    I checked your site and this is what the tag looks like:

    <meta name="" content="<link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="http://blogvillage.dirtybutter.com/favicon.ico" />">

    Unfortunately, since <link rel> is not really a meta tag, I don't think you are going to be able to do it this way. You could try putting ="<link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="http://blogvillage.dirtybutter.com/favicon.ico" /> in your header but I am not sure if it will work if it's not within the <head></head> tags.

    THANKS!! IT WORKED!!

    That did it. I edited the Header and put the shortcut link first thing, before any other code, and it did just fine!!
