This is a note I got from someone trying to add her banner to my list:
I tried to put my site on here but i kept getting an error that the verification code was incorrect.
What does that mean, please and what can I do?
I did have the setting YES - to approve - but I just took it off. Would that be it? I never got an email though saying she wanted to join.

Hello,
This happens all the time. For some reason people click the verification link and then try to enter the code again afterward. The verification number only works once. I have tried to be ultra-clear in the email about this but people still do it, and then email asking why they get an invalid code message. Her site is probably already active and added to the list.
