Email verification

I have members that need approval and I receive a email indication a member is waiting approval. Sometimes when I log in I see a there are also other members waiting for email verification. What does this mean?

Hello,

This means that they have signed up, but they haven't clicked the verification link that is sent to them in an email yet. This verification is important to ensure they are using a correct email address. Their site does not get activated until they click that link.
