    HELP! I have a black border that I can't get rid of

    I have edited my topsites and can not find where the black border is listed to change it. Can anyone help me?

    Thanks

    You can't actually get rid of the black border on that template (I don't think, it has been a long time). But it does look like you have something in your header that is messing up the right hand side of the border. I will take a look at it all asap and get back to you.

    I fixed the wacky border - but it is still there for now. I need to look into if there is any way to remove it.

    You had started a table that you forgot to close in your header.

    Whenever you have:
    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>

    you also need to have:

    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    or it will mess up the rest of the page (not just here, but on any html page).

    I'll let you know what I find out about removing the border.

    It doesn't look like there is any way to remove the border. It is a very old template created by the original programmer and it is unfortunately built right into the template.

    I think this may be the problem

    Code:
    <center>

    <table ID="MainTable" align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">

    <tr>
    <td width="1" rowspan="3" style="background-color: Black;"></td>
    <td align="center" colspan="2">
    <center><script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "pub-9709843458292964";
    google_alternate_ad_url = "http://www.gotop100.com/google/alt-728x90.html";
    google_ad_width = 728;
    google_ad_height = 90;
    google_ad_format = "728x90_as";
    google_ad_channel ="5407226087";
    google_ad_type = "text";
    google_color_border = "000000";
    google_color_bg = "FFFFFF";
    google_color_link = "FF3300";
    google_color_url = "999999";
    google_color_text = "333333";
    //--></script>

    Your TopList looks fine in FireFox. The black box only shows in IE. I found 3 entries in the Source Code for Black, as seen here. Try changing that in the template and see what happens.

    She can't change those in the template. It is built in to the template. That is the one problem with the way the templates used to work. Certain things can't be changed with only css.

    If I change the master template, then everyone who likes the black borders loses them.

    Fortunately, that is the only template with black borders that can't be changed

    Also, I have been working on a bunch of new templates - I don't have a release date yet but they'll but up in the not too distant future.

    Oh well, at least it looks OK with FireFox.
