flashy or plain looking site?
What attracts you when visiting a site? Do you like flashing everywhere with cool colors or just a plain simple site?

I find simple yet stylish works, sites with flash and animated content give me headache :P

Re: flashy or plain looking site?
I personally find a site that is easy to navigate, and gives me the info I'm looking for in a stylish, eye pleasing layout. It doesn't really need all the bells and whistles but I do appreciate nice graphics or a layout that is relevant to the site/topic.
What I can't stand is mystery meat navigation.
I agree about the use of flash. I mean, don't get me wrong... I think it's "neat" in some aspects like perhaps a musicians site or something. But I find people's surfing habits to be impatient. Sufers generally don't want to have to go through splash flash intros everytime they visit their favorite sites.

I like nice graphics with no flashy parts. I do allow some animated gif banners but they can't be too flashy or change too quickly as to annoy people.

I agree with flash intros, I don't like when I visit a site and I have to see the same intro over and over again. Although some sites with flash intro has one time visit and that's it, which is good. Easier to navigate is always better, I'm lazy myself and when I have to click so many times then I'm doing to much work. Moving on..
